Metalwork help
January 26, 2018, 01:22:37 pm
Does anyone on here (ideally in Sheffield) work with metal and drills etc.?

I need 3 holes drilling in two pieces of metal that are about 1-2mm thick- the sort of job that I'm sure would be be a doddle in a proper worksop but I'm equally certain would be an epic bodge if I try to do it myself, not least as I don't even own an electric drill...

Happy to pay of course.

Does it need to be particularly accurate? Or particularly large diameter holes? Or hard metal? Sounds like a 2 min job with a hand drill otherwise...I can pop over this afternoon if it's convenient, just PM me your address.

Haven't got a full workshop but have a bench drill in my cellar in Broomhill and not short of metal working bits.

Cheers Remus, it does need to be as accurate as possible though. It's also not immediately ready- as usual I'm sitting at work dreaming up improvements to make to my studio at the weekend(s)...

That's all I need! I'll send you a PM
