Navana - Burbage North

Navana, E6 6b.  FA Darren Thomas, 1994 - http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/c.php?i=10522

Has anyone repeated this, or even done it clean on TR (I can see mwatson has logged it as such on TR on UKC).

Does it go direct, or come in from the arete on the left? I can't feasibly see this being the tech grade given, especially the line marked in the guide. The line in the RockFax is trending right, the "slot" mentioned in the BMC guide is on the left, and that single move from the obvious central hold to the slot is harder than 6b, and the moves below much harder. Any clues?  :-\ :-\

I briefly tried it once on a rope around '99, not realising it had been claimed.

Went direct and I think I was trying to go dynamically of an (undercut?) slot. I concur that 6b seemed very conservative, I was guessing E7/8 6c would be the grade.
