To avoid confusion... the guide that is coming out is a Dartmoor granite guide (trad and boulders).  Not a 'woodland bouldering on Dartmoor guide'.

Tom Rainbow has written a cool little blog about some woodland venues (link above), sounds like one of these (just one) will be in the new guidebook.

The others you'll have to suss out for yourselves... e.g.  Goldilocks zone is in a sensitive location, currently has no grid reference on UKC and will not be in the guide.

Suffice to say there's loads of cool stuff in the woods that won't be in the guidebook and loads that will be in but a woodland bouldering guide it is not.

I'm still confused. What does it cover then? Sounds like it doesn't cover all of Dartmoor  :-\

The new guide covers all of Dartmoor but it's just that there has been so much recent development that some of it hasn't made the cut...the line has to be drawn somewhere! Hence my blog post.

I see. An online pdf would fill the gap

Pace of development on Dartmoor has gone through the roof, turns out there's loads of rock out there...  a PDF would fill the gap briefly.
The Moor has really matured a bouldering venue over the last few years.  Established venues have been worked over to give a range of mega hard test pieces and there are now classics of all grades hidden away in the woods. New things are being brushed up on a regular basis.

Sounds like it needs a dedicated bouldering guide... Psyched for a trip in any case. Been too long!

Fave bit so far: "8 - climb the wall to the left of Rowe's Arete, in a cider fueled haze I seem to have forgotten the grade, it's probably 6B..."

Didn't realised it had been released! Where can I get my grubby mits on a copy of this blessed volume?!

Have had a sneak preview.  Looks very good.  Excellent woods sections for Lustleigh Cleave Cartoon Lands and Bovey Woods. Etc..  so there is plenty of woods in it innit.
