I've got a really old copy of rock deluxe (2004) I'm unlikely to need for a few years, plus the Alastair Lee one which gives an overview of N Island. It's not great, but has some useful stuff.

Just googled, there is a 2015 version, which is probably a lot better, if someone offers you that take it off their hands, but shout if you want mine.

You are welcome to borrow, message me.

I have the 2004 Rock Delux and SI Rock. Inconveniently I live in NZ, but if you're visiting Christchurch then I'll happily lend you them.

The 2015 RD is not a vast improvement on the previous one. There's a few limestone crags on the west coast added and some of the Port Hill crags have been removed after they fell down.

Give me shout if you need any other info

Good info thanks, I'll seek SA Chris' copy then. It would be good to hook up all the same when we are in CH, you can show me which crags are gone or just about to.

Which crags are good in Summer? Will be over in January/February

I think since the one in February a lot of the crags around there are in dangerous state or have large boulders sitting above them.

ive got the old south island rock guide from around 2002 and the wanaka guide if youre going down that way. youre welcome to borrow them if you want to and you can return them when you come back. assuming youre not emigrating out there.
