Any of you gents wear the ladies version of the solution?  How much lower volume are they and which areas specifically are lower volume?

They're not lower volume at all. All the recent sportiva women's shoes are on the same last as the men's. They just have either softer rubber and/or slightly less stiffness from the P3 platform thing.

So basically all you get is a jazzy pink colour scheme?

I've had both the yellow (mens) and the pink (womans) Solution and they seem to be exactly the same in fit. I just chose to climb in the womans cos I like the colour.
