Thanks for all the advice. I had a great trip out there at various crags doing climbs which I can't remember.
We did some great single and multi-pitch (my first) routes and I had some type 2 fun with spaced bolting on horrific slabs where slips would result in rolling for 10 meters rather than falling. By not thinking and only taking my tightest pair of brand new Muiras I also set myself up for a crippling week but I emerged more hardened and experienced.
It's made me want to get out and do some trad climbing so I can go and attempt some of the bigger things out there - so anyone around Yorkshire watch out for a falling cumbian as there's a good chance his gear will rip.
