Had my camera bag with a bunch on lenses in it nicked a couple of months back, insurance replaced my cheap Zenitar MF fisheye with this 16mm f/2.8 AF-D one. Reviews say it's a good lens, but I probably won't get ernough mileage out of it to justify keeping it - I'd rather put the money towards upgrading my rather elderly camera, which they didn't manage to steal.
It's brand new and in its (so far unopened) box, with caps and filters.
It's got screw drive AF, so won't autofocus with some newer Nikons. You can check if it's compatible with your camera here (scroll down to the table and check the AF, AF-D (screw) column):
