We had great fun even though we were late so not not allowed into any pole rubbing. Must have been 500 or so folk up there. Lots of good posing shots with the great and good (the hands holding high the left hand camera in the background may be mine). We had invited someone from the weekend BMC AGM for his first day on grit... a bit cold but he seemed well chuffed with: a pole and its people; routes and EU discussions with one of his heros (a certain himalayan peak ticker); and bouldering with Ron from FRCC, putting in a good determined performance whilst learning how hard proper outdoor boulder grades can be. Adam, as we would expect by now, was heading back up for the good light as we left to get him to his train at 6.
Thanks again for Henry, Adam and co for erecting the climber and BMC profile a bit further by getting a woodie up in public.
