Pondering replacing my desktop with a decent spec laptop for more portability. Have been scouring Amazon amongst other places and emailed the seller about this:

Nice spec but I'd be wary of spending this much and only getting a 1 year warranty. At this price I'd want 3 or 5 years.

Hah! Yeah, didn't notice anyone has replied to this...

Shortly after my first post and email, the seller disappeared off Amazon, then this week they have reappeared with a new store and similar items, I am pretty sure the address they are using is different this time. I've done the same googling as you for the premium catering thing and the whole thing stinks of bullshit, to the extent that I've reported it to Amazon. I also emailed the premium catering place and didn't get any reply from them....
