Tents etc?

Quote from: d.piddy talking about a bouldering trip to Northumberland
No of course we're not camping, this isn't a fucking duke of edinburgh trip
While I generally agree with that I also do need to do a bit of camping on trad trips when hostels are too busy / pricey, and actually like it quite a bit on quiet sites in nice weather. Problem is my old hexagonal dome Vango tent has given up the ghost after nearly 20 years of use and I need a replacement...

£200 or less
2-3 man
Outer first pitching preferable
Geodesic / dome style (i.e. pegging is not 100% essential)
Side entrance / multi entrances
AS TALL AS POSSIBLE (my old vango was like this and I *really* value as much headroom as possible)

This is a contender so far:

Or 3 man version...

This is inner pitching but the simple design and size sound good:

Any other ideas??

Also, and budget sleeping bag ideas would be helpful. Just 2-3 season ones and anything that can wick away sweat is good ;)

Tents - i rate vango for car camping, solid quality.

Sleeping bags - alpkit are good value for a down bag. I've got a pipe dream (long!) and it's toasty.

Cheers man. Yeah I was super-impressed with the durability of my old Vango, 20 years for a tent that was about £80 at the time, lots of wear and tear but never had a pole snap.

Alpkit bags look a bit pricey for me. I've been using a Mountain Equipment (dragon something or other??) that was £40 a decade ago and that seems fine. Will look further, not as urgent as tent.
