Amazing race. Mind blowing to think that after nearly 380 km it all boils down to 2" in the final sector of the final lap.
And here we go with 135 and then some.

Just been for quick blast on the back of my mates Triumph Triple R.

Holy Jesus Fcuk.

First time on the back of a bike for probably 20 years.

Cheeks are aching from grinning, like that first pill feeling.

Totally realised that I'm just too old and scared to actually ride a bike though.
Young mans game that. I'll stick to the armchair biking.

Sam, I disagree.
It's probably too late to ride hell for leather on a 150 hp bike, but it's surely not, to ride around on a cool bike that suits you, grinning like a mofo and smiling at everyone.

I was thinking the same thing. Not that it matters at all, but I was wondering if his retirement from the TT could have had something to do with his accident (about which, of course, I know nothing).
Maybe, as you say, he still wasn't 100% mentally ready.
Anyway, again, it does not matter at all.
