Off to Geyikbayiri on Friday for a week. The guidebook doesn't really have route descriptions or a star system so I was planning on just going to good looking sectors and seeing what looks good. As well as getting beta from the campsite.

However, if anyone has any suggestions of 'must do' climbs that we could potentially miss if we happen to not go to a particular crag then I'd love to hear them!

So, any favourite routes from your trips there? The people going will be climbing anywhere between 6a and 8a so name away!

Turkish Standard I remember as being a quality 6b+.

Nirvana is a great steep 6b in a cave that was the first route bolted in Geyikbeyiri apparently.

I had my first sport climbing trip there, the first time I'd been abroad for 6 years. Both of those were my first of the respective grades. If you have half as much fun as I did you'll have a blast!
