Peak Area meet tonight (9th Sept) at Glossop

7.30pm at The Globe Inn, 144, High Street West, Glossop, Derbyshire. SK13 8HJ.

It's a packed agenda with staff from the BMC office attending. After the free supper Emma Flaherty will be giving a talk and slide show. Emma has recently climbed Royksopp, Font 8a at Rocklands, South Africa. She will be talking about her climbing journey, preparation for climbing her first 8a and about her future plans.

There will also be information regarding the Women's Climbing Symposium (womensclimbingsymposium.com) that is taking place on the 17th October at The Climbing Works.

I could drive to yours but that would somewhat defeat the object of not driving. I am not planning on getting too pissed though so if that would be easier for you I don't mind.

I find Shark's driving usually sobers me up a treat. Especially if there's snow on the road.
