Hi Dave - sorry - it's where it was placed (as in someone had found it and put it there before me) - it's next to one of the styles/gaps on the walk in where you cross the fields.. I very much suspect it's still there. Sorry I didn't pick it up - I live in Manc - so I figured it may be as easy for folk to get to the crag as to meet up etc.. No idea on the size, but from memory 41-42 would be about right (looks like the same size is wear)...
