On Saturday 5th September, we will be hosting our annual
Shakedown bouldering competition.
The doors will open at 9:45
The qualifying round starts at 10:00 and finishes at 14:00
25 qualifying adult problems, and 20 problems specific to kids, set by in-house setter Dominic Bridgwood
and guest setter Alex Fry
.
Our good friends VinylBear will also be down printing designs onto organic cotton t-shirts and hoodies.
At approximately 15:15 the grand final will start. The top 5 climbers from each adult category will battle it out in The Awesome Cave on 5 final problems for both male and female climbers.
Core Climbing have kindly donated some very special holds for us to use in the final, it's going to be a good one!
Soon after the finals finish we will have a grand prize giving where we have loads to give away. And don’t worry if you don’t place in the top 3; we'll be giving out spot prizes to randomly placed competitors as well!

The one and only Gary Gibson
is hosting a fun climbing quiz for teams of four to enter. There's a picture round and a questions round and Team prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
To help ease you into the quiz, you can enjoy a hand pulled beer beverage
from our charity bar whilst battling it out for 1st place. We will also have food available, not to forget awesome cake as well. All that topped off with a live DJ
all day and some party games, it will make for another AWESOME day.
The first 50 to register will receive a limited edition 2015 Shakedown t-shirt.
