Clearly it would be both unpatriotic and pedantic to mention it at this time of national rejoicing, but there have been some similar performances by euros ... for example, Manolo.

True, and no lack of respect for Signor Zanolla, but he is a specialist in a very particular slightly off-piste style of climbing in relative backwaters. Whereas Ben's CV is one of the central threads of mainstream sport climbing history.

Just climbed my 2nd 9a 25 years after my 1st. Rainshadow 4th ascent. Fxxxxxx psyched!!
