I love how, after total mastery of the bulk of the route, on the very last (easy?) moves you can see his legs shaking a little! Makes it look very real, as if you were witnessing ordinary crag business...except it is not!!!

So.... Mr Moon pisses his way up a 9a at age 48. Given that deterioration in performance is pretty general in sportsmen after around 30 y.o, presumably he was capable of climbing 9b in his 20s.... those must have been some damn heavy dreadlocks!

It just goes to show how much of sport is in the mind. Ben said himself that climbing a route (or a grade) that hasn't been done yet is so much harder than one that has.

He fucking walked it!  :strongbench:
