I heard there's a new guide in the works for the crags between the M1/A1 in the Eastern Peaks. Is there any news on when it might be out or is it still only in the planning stages? I ask because I got out to Anstons today with a borrowed guide and loved it, but last time I tried to get a guide I couldn't get one for love nor money (even messaged the guys at Betaguides to see if they had one lying around HQ).

Any info would be much appreciated.

Is anston esoteric now? I keep looking for news on the guide but the only thing i can see is that they where waiting for some projects to be sent so they could be included

Not especially, but they call the guide 'Esoteric East' on the news bit on their site here http://www.betaguides.co.uk/

I heard it was delayed because some lazy fucker has written 99% of the geology sectionat Easter but hasn't got around to finishing it yet...
