I'd recommend a visit to woodwell:

Low sitter to Crushinator at Woodwell o'ert is good at around 7B, no small holds.
Turbulence is ok at 7B+/C and can be done with a few methods
Not bad Dave sitter is a gift at 7C if yo can do the desperate 6A+ stand up!

Ned's problem from a sitter is great at trowbarrow too and the buccaneer is a good tallies 7C. If you get the toe hook to work, Vitruvian Man is ok and not too brutal too.

I reckon Bad moon Rising up at Thorn is a great soft 7B+, although it doesn't meet the lime criteria.

I think Pit problem at trowbarrow led to my back problems last autumn - working that right heel pull - and I felt miles off Vitruvian man - so might be giving trowkneebar less attention this summer. Like Woodwell though. Great summer spot. Not been to oert road so should have a look there. Liked rigpa but needed spotters I felt (I'm often a one man band..)

Bad moon looks like a 'needs lots of pads' job - is it alright (fall potential etc,,)

Some of the quarries are good for summer projects on positive holds. Ousel's Nest is a lovely spot in the trees with loads in the 7B range. Wilton 4 has a good one that I think I mentioned to you before - The Rennaissance Men, balancy and easier for the tall. Wilton 3 has The Starship, very limestone-esque.

Hello everyone,
Finally got some free time this week to check out Crag X (either Weds eve or thurs lunchtime - or even both..) - does such a thing as a topo exist for there? Any chance someone could DM me one? Or is it not too bad to figure out whats there?
Thanks,
T

I would definitely recommend going with someone who knows some of the problems.

Seb off of here mentioned that he had a topo but it was shit. I'm quite keen to check it out too but it's hard to get anyone to go there!

DT90's always looking for a lift out to real rock - drop him a pm and see if he's available for guiding services

Without wanting to state the bleedin obvious, you don't need a topo, just google the problem names and watch the videos

Hint "Moffatrocity 7B+"

Had a good wee session at X today - lovely spot. I mean its horrible - never go there. Thanks loads Haydn for showing me around - got stuck into a couple of problems that (a) feel good and (b) have potential.

Excellent!
