You really went for it! I once casually leant on a kitchen surface and cooked my hand on an electric ring instead, that really hurt but not nearly as much as yours looks.

Just done a session and there is quite a variety to do on my left arm on the woodie static and pulling.

this Shark vs The Oak battle is better than Game of Thrones

More sex, nudity and gratuitous violence then?

Always wondered what went on at the Malham scene...

May I be the first to make a Catwalk reference?

Never mind climbing. Wanking is going to be challenge.

How many reps should I start with?

are your tips OK?

Yes they were mercifully unaffected though I have some impressive flappers below the third joint

The bandaging is going to be an impediment though.

On the positive side my leftarm and finger are substantially weaker than the right and a lot of the key moves on the Oak are off the left so I can train those moves on undercuts and gastons in isolation

ye gads, hope it heals quick.

You stupendous dumbfuck!  :o

Whenever I see hands like that it's to click furiously on the "shoot" button and unload an AK or shotgun into it's zombie ass.

Hope it heals soon and is not too itchy and annoying.

That's grim. I did similar to the backs of my fingers with a firework (don't ask) many years ago. Wasn't as bad as that though, a proper job shark!

Shark you poor buggar!
When I was about 1 (many moons ago), I sat on the cooker and turned on the hob.
Ended up with a burnt rear end.
As far as I am aware I have made a full recovery.

Take it easy, rest up and I am sure you will fell The Oak soon! :)

Late again...

STG - Gotham extension, trad projects post bird ban
MTG - 8c, age related flim flam
LTG - 9a if Barrows can and Littlefair can try then why not??
BHAG - Bruderliebe

M - BM session, focussing on mixed up mono's (i.e. different fingers on each hand usually middle-little combo and ring-index combo) and then long (for a midget, 50-90cm) moves between bars and BM with one finger on the bars. Good session.
T - nowt
W - BM session as Monday
T - swimming
F - "bolting" project. Another clusterfuck of incompetence. March out to batcave to bolt rest of Gotham extension. Drill and hammer in a couple of thru-bolts as a temp abseil point to access crag top, then reallise don't have spanner. March home grumpily.
S - #1 son's birthday party, swimming with ten hyperactive 8 year olds, training or torture?
S - Attempt 3 at bolting Gotham extension. Manage to ab in and place lower off bolts and top three bolts on the headwall before I hit a larger than expected overlap and get cold which combines to kill enthusiasm. Jug out and trudge home (more happily than Friday).

OK week, various things going on meant it was always going to be a bit busy and short of climbing time. Pleased to make some headway with bolting, putting bolts in steep routes is hard work, never mind climbing the things. Also I now think the Gotham extension is going to be harder than my first inspections suggested, which is good.

Shark you loon! Nice progress though, keep going beast.

Kelvin when and where are you in Spain? I'm going to be in the Margalef/Siurana area first week of Nov with Grubes of this parish and a few others, if you are in the area you'd be welcome to join our send train (or more likely our lounging in the sun making up excuses train...)

Excuses I can do well ;-)

Cheers Nik - as it happens, was roughing out a plan last night and that would work out spot on... We leave the Uk on Oct 1st, will spend a couple of weeks in the Ariege, then a couple of weeks at Montserrat doing some multipitch before heading to Suirana/Margalef. So should arrive about the same time as yourselves, yeah, it'd be good to put some faces to people.
