I think I may have done a new problem on the calf Boulder at Ilkley. It starts as for Superset and goes left instead of right using the crack as an undercut/side pull then across to a slopey left hand dish then into some pockets with the right hand. I reckon it's about 7a+...

Could anyone confirm whether this has been done and whether it has a name or not?

There is an image link below. The undercut/side pull is in the green circle.

Dunno if its new. 7A+ seems a bit mean for a problem that does the only hard move on a 7B+/C then adds what sounds like a harder finish.

It's never occured to me to try that line. Does it, as Ru suggests, have the same start? The crux of superset is getting the crack hold with your right hand.
If so Ru is right. It's 7b+ in good conditions. I'll give it a go though now. Well spotted. It's a nice boulder. Shame about the new graffiti. :(

I found the hardest move on superset matching the crack, not getting to it... But maybe that's just me.

However on this problem, you catch the crack as a side pull rather than horizontally. But let me know what you think after you've tried it
