Irish happenings 2014
February 03, 2015, 03:42:44 pm
My second attempt at an annual ezine, covering happenings in Ireland for 2014. It's been a good one.

May be of interest to some on here, and I think the Head is particularly worthy of some capable attention from the strong peeps:

I want to do that Immaculata.  What are the logistics for getting there and does the wall dry out quick after rain?

Very good stuff. Great photos. It would be nice if the routes that had photos had some indication where the photo was coming up.

Owey is a couple of hours from Belfast International - you get a wee ferry to the island:

Most of the rock is very fast drying, but as with any west coast sea cliffs, the swell can sometimes be epic. Planning a trip in late spring if you fancy.

Yeah keep me informed Dan.  I was thinking of visiting late Spring as well.  I need to stop jetting off to Spain and do some of the spectacular lines on our fair isles!

Nice!
Good to see the development at cushenden, explored it a bit about 6 years ago when on a Fairhead Trip (didn't pull on)

a Good spot with some really cheap self catering cottages for those who want creature comforts for their Fairhead experience...
