is this summer a write off?
July 27, 2004, 11:38:16 am
this is the first summer for ages that i've been stuck in Britain for the whole time and i must admit i'm getting pretty pissed off with the weather. For some reason the stupid Jet stream thingy is pushing all the shite weather straight to britain. Its nearly August and Parisellas has just started to seep  A route i've been trying down LPT has got a friggin wet hold on it! On thats on the orme with its perpetually sunny climate! the mountains are a complete no-no for me at the minute. Apparently most of the crags in yorkshire are wet and i very much doubt the cheedale cornice will be seeing any action this year. Anyone else getting sacked?

Since nearly doing a route on the WCJ cornice about two months ago said route has been seeping ever since, most annoying  . Have been mostly confined to the tor as far as hard sport routing in the peak goes. Although I went up to Upper Two Tier on Sunday and did Sea is a.... and Vision of Loveliness which were both excellent and bone dry :D .

My heart bleeds lads.  :crying:  Try climbing only 5 days of the last 3 months because your arm won't work, then a few wet holds starts to look like a fucking rosy picture. Go to a different crag or do some pull-ups.
