While I still have my job (till the end of the week at least) I’ve not got loads of time till next weekend, but am quite looking forward to adding some more when I can. I think they need to meet up with Kurt and Wolfgang, maybe Johnny and Paul P in the Hovis van, some French guys at the crag, Lynn and Ron, etc...

Really love those hoseyb. Great use of colour and love the perspective on the ladder image.

Cheers, inspired mainly by 90's comic art and inking. Only recently started again as some free time in lunch breaks at work. (4 kids meant no free time at home). Now I'm furloughed I'm hoping I can continue in my weekly night off kid duties.

Nice one Hose, the bottom one looks like a classic patio in the thumbnail :)

Nice one Scouse, I like how you've chosen strongly architectural subject matter :)

Completed my 4 Pot Painting Challenge (black, white, silver, and one coloured paint). Started in 2005-ish with this dude:

(N.B. Forum fucked up the image size so much I've replaced with just links)

Finally completed the quadtrych:

Assuming that the forum will mangle the image sizes / quality as usual, original and more pictures here: https://teamshambler.blogspot.com/2020/04/4-pot-painting-challenge.html

Still waiting for proof of all the other so-called Orc painters in Tomtom's poll, but in the meantime here's mine...

And from 40K, here's a Grot Tank with lots of weathering:

I'm going to stop spamming these soon, maybe, but blame JamieG who gave me a wad point for painting, and also this has pretty neat colours I think so who knows....

It's another one donated by an online gaming friend. This time the colour scheme is all mine, but the cloak colour was actually inspired by watching a Starcraft 2 stream in bed one night (as I do most nights to wind down) and seeing some map designs with purple fading to electric blue, so I thought I'd give it a try! Again a bit of distracting varnish shine in the photos but I need it to stop my sweaty paws rubbing off painted areas.

Don’t stop posting Fiend, I really enjoy seeing your stuff. It all seems incredibly nigh quality to me.
I’ve been doing some life drawing on Zoom, it’s very much not a perfect medium but strange times and all that, if inclination, motivation and proximity align I’ll post some pics...

I stand by my wad point. These are all excellent. Particularly like the tank. I used to enjoy airfix kits when I was younger but was always useless at the fine details.

Thankfully painting has eased right off. But....I squeezed in one more. Not my favourite work but I reckon people might like the copper....

(also pretty sure nik should be posting more in here)

You asked for it...

Cat made of Corten steel (the trendy stuff that rusts, see “Angel of the North”, building cladding, garden planters etc...)

https://flic.kr/p/2jc3gHy

“Moon gate” again Corten steel, not really art, sculpture I suppose...

https://flic.kr/p/2jc7kAp

Also got a seahorse in progress (not Corten) I’ll get a photo when it’s done.

I can’t figure out how to embed the images using my phone, sorry.

I can’t quite decide whether to pull my finger out and start working on this story, or just draw loads of oldskool climbers and make a poster... I suppose if I did the latter I would have a decent cast for the former.

I might make a start on Wolfgang and Kurt. Struggling to find any pics of Sean Myles other than Real Thing stills - does anyone have any? Any other requests? I have quite a long list...

How about doing scenes in a 'cold war steve' style?

Hubble would be a timely one?  :)
