While out getting presents for others, I ended up with this for me:

It's a reggae cover of OK Computer, Brilliant. Some tracks are better than others obviously, but Toots and the Mayals doing 'Let Down' is worth the cost alone.

can't actually imagine anything worse. radiohead doesn't need to be covered! let alone by bloody reggae!

Fair enough, it may well not be your thing, but the dismissal of 'bloody reggae' is an ignorant and foolish statement. You should give it a go - my other half is a radiohead fan, and not at all into reggae (though she deals better with the ska and dub end of things) but she loved it.

btw it's 'Toots and the Maytals', but anyone who's interested will probably already know that

I think Bubba recommended it a while back, along with the Dub Side of the Moon one.

Underworld fans: Has anybody got the Dirty Epic/Cowgirl single? I can't find it anywhere...
...because it was only released in the USA

The one I'm after is TVT 8722-2 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirty_Epic

 :rtfm:

Have just followed up my original suggestion to you and have done a search on soulseek.

In two minutes I've found three users sharing this very version (SaintAlvis, rciske21 and kleve2 all with different versions since the kbps encoding rate varies).  Of course they may not be online when you get round to looking, so do a search on 'Rez' then filter the results on the keyword 'Underworld' and look for tracks that have Rez listed as track 7.

I'm guessing since your asking for it here that you aren't too bothered about getting an original in which case the above should suffice.

Next time you'll have to do the leg work yourself  ;)

So the point of posting in this forum about it was?

Go Hiyama presents Summer Live (64 mins/58MB) IMO the best underground tech live act in Japan.

I was recommended to listen to this radio 4 show, which some of you might now. It's called Down the Line. It is very very funny, and I can recommend it;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/comedy/downtheline.shtml

I hope it is alright to recommend a radio show that features NO music.

That is hilarious  :great:

Anyone who wants them all can follow the links here to get them from rapidshare.de (links are in the forum of a site called Cook'd & Bomb'd, a Chris Morris fan fansite.  I can highly recommend getting the Blue Jam radio shows, which are sublime, not sure if the torrents are working at the moment though).

Edited to provide links.

Just before I book my ticket, is anyone else keen to come on the 24th to Manchester? Saves a couple quid on postage if we book together. Would like to book today so send me a PM or reply.

This week have been listening to Louderbach (Troy Pierce alias) - Enemy Love. Great shit.

Also Luke Vibert's Kerrier District has been incredible.

Am very keen on A Hawk And A Hacksaw at the moment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Hawk_and_a_Hacksaw. The Way The Wind Blows album is particularly good.
Quote
The band mainly consists of percussionist Jeremy Barnes, who was previously the drummer for Neutral Milk Hotel, and violinist Heather Trost. The music is mostly instrumental with occasional unintelligible vocals, shouts and cheers. When playing live, he plays all of the instruments himself, simultaneously, often employing unconventional percussion methods such as striking a cymbal with a drumstick attached to his head, and wearing a hat covered in small bells.
Crazy good Balkan-electro-psychfolk tunes, with weird instruments and a multi-regional traditional european sound. That doesn't sound inspiring I know, but get amongst it, you will love.
