There are vids of Alacrity, so that should be easy to work out. That's the best thing there. The traverses are quite fun too, and the new link into Alacrity is a good one. I have some vids of the other problems somewhere, I will see if I can find them.

Yeah, the stuff to the right of alacrity is a bit scrappy.

Would somebody be able to post directions to this please? I tried finding it last year but had no luck.

Park at the bottom of eyam delph, on the stoney to tideswell road, just past the Eyam turnoff when travelling west. Walk up the valley and the crag is up on your left after a few mins. Take one look at it and walk back to your car and drive to the Tor or Rubicon.

I've been here several times and never spotted anything resembling worthwhile climbing. There are two bits of rock in Eyam delph - the Church (arch) on the left at the top of the hill, and the gorge the river disappears into higher up, which provides a fun bit of open air caving for kids. You park at the same place for Stoney west, which has decent trad no doubt being retrobolted judging by the recent parked cars.

Funny, everyone I have talked to who has done Alacrity thinks it's pretty good. They must be daft because now I find out that everyone who hasn't even tried the climbing can tell instantly the climbing is rubbish.
The new linkup looks good too. I tried it a few times but never finished the deed. Good effort James.

Nope, Ethan hasn't revealed the details yet. He says video, blog and topo on the way. Looks good from this pic on facebook.

I know where it is. And as for Eyam Delph, a worthwhile move does not for me make a worthwhile venue.

Went and had a quick look at alacrity today, is it an eliminate or do people not use the holds out left because they don't think they help? (Didn't pull on so couldn't tell if they'd help, looked likely tho)
