Remember the Petzl Rock Trip to the stunning caves in China...





They're now getting trashed with concrete walk-ways, suspension bridges glass elevator(!) and a restaurant planned for the upper cave/tier.

Wierd. I guess the local authorities must be trying to attract visits from well to do Chinese people rather than the odd skinflint western climber. Who would have thunk it.

I know its crazy, it begs the question of why it wasn't developed in that manner in the first place instead of first designating it a National Park and now (apparently) rescinding that status.
