Ok.. For the 7A going left does it start from the lower red holds or higher blue? I understand the 7B to the right goes from lower..
Advice much appreciated.

From the red holds or the blue ones?

Does this describe it accurately?

This reminds me, Chas Cooper told me about a new problem at Hobson Moor - will try and find the details.

Not really Robin - anyway I ended up starting using the green holds :) LH, rh, and outside of lf. Slap for arête then slap for top. Really good actually and felt spot on for 7A in my rusty condition.

Sorry Rman - that sounded a bit glib... (posting too fast) what I meant was that the description doesnt really help!

No worries - what I meant was, what should the correct description be? Can upload your photo to pb if that helps?

Sit start with two crimps on thin break left of centre at mid height (or use one low and left for LH), throw out left to the arete, re-position and pop for the top.

I think this is a bit clearer...

Cheers, have pasted your description into pb. Feel free to tweak problems if they don't seem right, I don't know Hobby.

Yup - the RH edition gives me an excuse to head back...
Although it looks like theres quite a bit of wear on the starting foot block/crack/hold for the RH version. I might glob some superglue on it when theres been a dry spell...

Looks like Hobby moor has had some recent TLC as there was some decent patio-ing and even a drainage channel dug to remove the usual quagmire under the tricky bit of the traverse...

Stuff gets added by different folk in an adhoc manner. It's an easy one (for you) to rectify.

Eh, I can go onto a website as joe bloggs and add info on fa's? I emailed Gareth ages ago to ask why fa's weren't recorded on some stuff and he never got back to me. Ok when I've got time I'll fill in all the fa's I know. Ta jon
