Your best bet is to get in contact with Simon Young at his climbing wall just south of bude, link is

http://www.barn-climbing.co.uk/

He knows the area really well and is a quality bloke so should be able to point you in the right direction, plus the barn has some of the best indoor bouldering that I`ve seen if you need a quick fix. The biggest place I have been to down there is Hartland Quay, from what I remember there`s quite a nice 7a+ roof to the left as you look at the sea. There is also some bouldering very near Bude too that I think was in an old OTE article but I didn`t think it was as good although still worth a visit if you`re living down there.

Northcott, Sandymouth, and Duckpool are all ace, there was a guid in OTE a while back, but just head down to any of them and you'll find loads of stuff... e.g.

Check tides very carefully and dont get caught out! A good pad is useful as are a lot of chalk and drying rags. Upton is supposed to have some good stuff. If you fancy a break from the smooth stuff Helman tor and Carn Barra have some good granite stuff in a non tidal stylee.
