The Press - kneeling

Am I right in thinking that most people end up getting the left hand press/gaston hold 'somwhere in the middle' on the wide bit, from the kneeling start. Rather than the smaller but positive top bit of it?

I get it low, thumb on the bottom of it (there's a quite nice bit for thumb to sit on iirc). For me the key is to look at my right foot whilst then moving my body up - as soon as I look up to the hold you're going to I get stuck and can't move any more.

Yeah deffo the low bit, although I haven't done it thats the way everyone else does.
