Training partner in Sheffield
February 11, 2014, 11:16:50 pm
I've just moved up to Sheffield, have tons of spare time, and am looking to (eventually) crush. I figure it's time I actually started to implement some kind of training programme instead of simply wandering around aimlessly and going "that looks like fun". Although I'd like to do plenty of that too.

If you'd like to join me on my quest to attain waddage, are in need of a partner, or just kind of feel sorry for a billy-no-mates who's just moved here and doesn't know anyone, hit me up.

(Note: I currently climb around 6C)

There's generally a good scene around the Foundry Wave.

 :agree:
Anything from SteMac trying to static every move almost successfully to Barrows sitting down doing some weird stretches whilst in a trance and picking his nose.  :strongbench:

Last night at the Foundry three-nine asked Barrows what music he was listening to. He passed him the earpiece. It was the sound of a metronome.

Simon - no I didn't.

OP- the Wave is totally rammed at the moment, so fuck off and train somewhere else.

Plattsy - horrible isn't it, Barrows always picks his nose (and eats it) as if nobody else is watching

If that's the case why didn't you report Magnus doing Neanderthal earlier than anyone else?

The Works is closer to me, but I'll make sure to pop in to the Foundry some time and hog some space on the wave then!

You might struggle to find other climbers in Sheffield. It hasn't caught on there yet.

Good, we like people who get in the way of Mark.

Nowt wrong with a metronome. One step along the road to minimal techno!

Unless you meant metro-gnome? There's a few of those at The Foundry also.
