so just getting round to booking going to ticino for two weeks at the end of march into april and was wondering about the gottardo pass- does anyone know if it will be climbable around then? just before i get too psyched on it and then find the road is closed. appreciate that snowfall will vary from year to year but is it likely that everything will be under ten foot of snow still?

When I've been there at that time of year the pass has been shut with snow. Like 15ft of it.

To what I know, it's a full Summer destination.

It has been so far, but that can change and even in normal years there are often more big snow dumps in Feb & March than in January.
