Enjoyed a few of these the other night (on the University) as a Friend passed his Viva. I also had something else involving a rooster but I can't remember, not quite as good but similar in style.

The red deer, conveniently situated under 5 mins from my dept. has a fairly nice selection as well. Not as good as the Sheaf/Rising sun but not half bad.

Something by these guys at a guess.

Apparently one of those squirrels in tartan will be in The Sheffield Tap next week.

They've just got this Butcombe in my local The Shakespeare, really nice. Darkish, not too strong. Full o' flavour.

If you're in Stoke Newington I recommend the Shakespeare, its my favourite pub.

I've been taking advantage of these Bradfield Brewery mini-kegs, perfect for the summer bbq season. 9L for 16 quid at the Archer Road beer shop.

Farmers Blonde or the Pale Ale, avoid the Sixer unless you really want to smash it in with a vengeance.

You can buy them directly from the brewery as well  - there didn't seem to be a price on their website but I would imagine it would be cheaper

Think they did another beer featuring New Zealand hops a while back - Pacific Gem springs to mind - which was bloody awesome. Big toffee flavours in a light coloured beer - not what you would expect.

Probably been mentioned already but enjoyed a nice pint of this along with some proper pub food at the red lion in litton:

Also had one of the ipa's using kiwi hops, at the crown in Beeston, which was also excellent, cant find an image but its called Pacific Pale ale.

I'm sure it might have been mentioned previously, but the Philharmonic currently have this bad boy on tap. Schiehallion, real nice.

Lost in the borg crash.

Arran Brewery does a fine selection of ales.  Had the Blonde, Arran Ale, Sunset and Red Squirrel.  Favourite was the Sunset.

Beer festival this weekend at The Old Hall. Last year it was brilliant... even bigger and better this year.

http://www.oldhallbeerfestival.co.uk/Beer_Festival/Home_Page.html

If I'm here (there's a chance I might have to go to Wales) I could probably accomodate a few friendly UKB'ers in Campers or tents so PM me for details.
