Nice. Strange sort of Spanish they're speaking there though...

Not one by me yet...but in the pipeline. What there is though is:   http://norop.es/villajoyosa with some cool bouldering spots within the same area.

umm

how many Mark's Roof, Mark's Traverse, Mark's Wall, Mark's Bulge etc are there?

I can only imagine what the index and graded list  of such a guidebook would look like

do you sneak in the odd Jerry's Traverse, Ben's Roof etc for really easy problems just for a bit of variety

What would you have done for route names if you had been called trevor?

Its difficult to think up new names sometimes, considering I have done a few hundred boulder problems around here on the Costa Blanca. If I was called Trevor I would definitely call one TVR.

Here´s one of my favorite bouldering spots, with long and really long problems from 6C to 8B. And before you poke fun at me, it was the local Spanish climbers that named the cave after me :-)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhfjazDfEA0

Put a space (or better still a carriage return) between the last character you type and the start of the YouTube URL and the videos will be embedded automagically...

Or you would have been stuck climbing sideways and doing trevor-se problems.

There's a word you don't hear much of these days! Can almost smell the ink (jumpers for goalposts etc.)   ;D

<geek>Carriage Return (CR) is still used in computing, it has a partner 'Line Feed' (LF).  Both are forms of Newline (fairly obviously!).

*NIX systems tend to use LF exclusively, whilst M$-Win uses a mixture of CR+LF.

If you look at files generated under M$-Win/DOS under *NIX they sometimes look really weird.

Its easy to convert between the two with things like dos2unix (or unix2dos).</geek>

I climbed at Cueva del Edwards about a year ago and can vouch that it's pretty cool, it's worth checking out if you're in the area and have access to pads. I thought the best problem there was Mosquito roof, it's one of the best 7b's I've done and the holds are like plates that reminded me of the holds on witness the fitness. I also met Mark at the crag nearby and he was shifting a lot of rocks to make a landing for another wall, he's put a lot of effort into the place.

Local boulderer Gustavo making the second ascent of one of my problems. I bought a knee pad from him after this, he makes chalk bags and buckets too  http://www.eskalar.com/brands.php?brand=Momou

My latest video. Filmed yesterday on a boulder near Finestrat village here on the Costa Blanca. Hope you enjoy it!
