Nice one.
That's very doable for a lunchtime sess for me, so I might give it a go now

Any wanna propose some grades for traverses?

It's down at 7A on ukc but can be done so many ways.

A good traverse is from sit start around the height of the pockets on the main wall.

Also the same height starting from the rest/entrance route for a big pump fest

There are a couple of travs in the old topo, which I just discovered is still online. Checkout the problem named Parklife.

I found the topo whilst cleaning out an old hard drive.  Enjoy.

Sheffieldboulder.uk - Cemetery Boulder

More generally http://sheffieldboulder.uk.  I've not finished topos for many of the boulders (haven't even been to some of them to get pictures) but the Heeley ones and Cemetry boulder are there and I've linked to existing resources I know about.

DAVETHOMAS90 has been adding problems to the original Heeley boulder for a while.  Feel free to register and add your own problems to any of those that have topos, and if you're really keen make topos for those awaiting them.

Forgot about that, good effort!

Yeah, always takes a while to figure out where holds are on these sort of things. Try doing it when you are resting after warming up/doing your 7A trav, then you won't feel like you are wasting time.

One good exercise I used to do on that boulder is all the straight ups, one after another, running between climbs. Climb up, run round, step right half a metre, climb up...

Sounds good thanks r-man
Do you know the rules on the traverse? As it is obviously much harder to start and finish at the entrance route.

I assume the jugs on top are never in, but it's often hard to work out if it's a 'top hold' or not.

I was never that interested in stamina stuff, but I remember the non eliminate traverse was best/pumpiest if you stayed low (feet just off the ground). I usually did it left to right, and I never bothered with the easy side of the boulder.

Slackline's boulders site/topo set up is a great resource. The framework is set up to easily include topos for all the other boulders. All it needs, is more input from other folk. We should support this; you never know, more awareness and use might help secure funding for more investment.

Great work, slackers  ;D
