[Peak][Curbar][Eh Andre][7A]
February 02, 2012, 10:42:12 am
After a couple of morning sessions Majestic Dan has climbed the slab at the end of warfare slab, just to the left of Dans wall.

Within the last couple of weeks the pile of boulders which were previously sat under the problem have rolled/been rolled down the hill, not by him!! possibly caused by a fire lit underneath as there seems to be quite newly burnt rock.
Its straight up the middle, without the right hand side pull or arete, although can be done with these at 6b.

What's the etiquette with claiming eliminates?
Which gets priority? The line or the eliminate? Ie. Why isn't the 6b named?
And before you all start...i know I've claimed eliminates myself.

no need for the worms, its a independant line which has only been dooable since these boulders have moved.
the 6b is a good problem in itself, but Dan felt the obvious challenge of the pure slab would be better.
i'd say problems can share holds without being eliminates ;)

Bump!

Out of interest I think I did this today, but am unsure what side pull you are talking about.

There is an obvious right hand crimp in the crack/seam that you pull on pretty hard. Is this the side pull? Or is the side pull closer to the arete? Cheers for any knowledge.

The crimp I used is just up and to the right of his waist, with chalk on it (so i guess it is in) :-)
