Anyone got any experience with getting money back from dodgy sellers on the other channel. Tried to buy some cams of a guy called "5cifi" on there, seems like he has taken the money and run. Not replying to emails (unsuprisingly).

Was only £35 or something like that, but im not exactly minted....

Pay pal you have a chance, bank transfer would be more difficult.

I am pretty sure UKC say anything bought and sold is done at your own risk.

Yeah, think hes done over a few people. Lots of accounts round the net called 5cifi have been deleted.
Pretty sure I wont get any ukc help.

you could contact your bank but probably a £20 admin charge or something to request the money back so might not be worth it.

Seems bizzare as searching his username he's been posting on the forums for years, someone who wasn't going to sell fairly wouldn't usually be someone with any histroy on there.

Having a quick look on threads his name is Jake and lives in North Manchester... Maybe contact some of the people who have bought off him. Possbily someone know's his address if they've picked up items from him?

Or... Maybe he's dead?
