speakin of which count von count did a new prob, well prob not new but we had to clean it etc... at stanage left on monday. quality moves. behind the big slab behind lovejoys traverse. overhangin couple o moves, called it wheel of fortune as a parady on the wheel of life n the rampant overgradin goin on back home. he also did green room slap from sitter, we were merely left in his wake :shock:

other prob: don't know route names so excuse please. climb big buttress directly behind your easy(sorry, low)rider when you get to top scamper down directly over back. its now the leanin wall on your left as per scamperin. if you're lookin up into gully its on left. right hand on decent flake under little roof, feet onto big ledge, stretch up way left for crimp, move left foot under you put right foot on good hold out right, cheeky kneebar :shock: small stabalizin crimp for right n throw for big break wi right. good moves landin slopes away beneath. prob bout sept a?

codfingers still givin me bit o shit so don't want to throw for anythin wi right hand, which is unfortunate since both probs r rite handed throws :cry:

Sounds good. Think i know the wall you mean. Welford has apparently done a couple of new 7a's somewhere in the area also.
 Kim gave GRS sit start 7b+ which i thought was quite harsh grading, but then he is a bit of a lankcaster bomber. Did you get as far over as the Beast (good one to try when codfinger is in the house)?

nah beast was just bit hot n gritty. comments on beauty where about gradin. johnny, sam n enigma flashed it. but since they'd all just oss no more excuses i thought this to be a bit harsh. well one oss n 2 flashes if we're bein pedantic :wink:

Bum-scrapin freakery sounds about right. The low start was fun, but the mantle wasn't happening. The other one was piss though.

Oh ye the original grade of 7a did somewhat reflect my abysmal slab credentials . It took me two visits to do it and i was beaten to it by the missus who had to do extra moves due to shortness .  6c (font) seems to be a bit closer to the mark, but even that might be too high, i defer to the judgement of people who can climb slabs.
