As per title,
on a lovely little VS, Condor Slab, 2 scarred placements. my leader assures ne bottom one (wihere wire is) has improved, and upper didn't exist last time he did it? Deliberate??

Just plain old cam erosion from people pulling on cams to see if they are seated properly e.t.c.
See photos of birchens crag for prime examples of this

Well... I know Skyline is soft but that's a mess. Can you clearly see how scarred they are? My leader insisted the top one didn't exist as a placement a little while ago.
Tangentially does anyone know the sequence for Script for a Tier?

I did this route a couple of years ago and don't remember seeing anything like this. Actually I found it quite bold with a pretty pokey move.
Looks fairly battered from overseating of wires and cams not deliberate chipping

I'm with Gritlad, deffo camwear. have seen loads of placements like that. Staffs grit is particularly prone to it. I suspect a bit of superglue would stop it worstening...
