Check in to 8a.nu and bone up on Pete Marsh's scorecard (he's just stuck a new 8B on, so easiest to use the "Updates" link). He's apparently repeated two of Si's Skye 8B's, one of them in 2 days! Big numbers  :roll:

Not saying that I'm not sceptical about this Marsh guy but playing devils advocate wasn't the weather supposed to be pretty shit when you did Pit Viper but you said you caught a weather window? Perhaps this Pete Marsh did the same?  :?

Also you said he could not tell a 7c from a 7a+ but is it not the case that when you where in the Lakes you conformed the Grade of The Trick at V10/11 which was down graded at a similar time to V6/7 by myself and Nigel?

Like I say still think this Marsh guys got some explaining to do wish he'd get on here and give us the low down, ruddy guys gone and disappered when the heats on, I hate it when people do that!

Not that this really has any effect on you, but...
When I first read news of your exploits, I jumped on the band wagon of "yeah right, the bloke is a bit off with his numbers".
However. Reading your posts around the cyberworld, I am now converted, and have to say that I am with you all the way.
It seems as though you are very humble and have no probs admiting you are wrong when necessary. It also seems that you are mad keen and getting out there doing some good stuff (whatver the grade).
Keep it up, and I for one hope that the grades all get confirmed!
