Hello,
The BGS (British Geological Survey) have just launched a iphone app (sorry dont know about the other side) that predicts tides for any point, any time around the UK. useful for those coastal venues..

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/anytide/id605322271?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D2

Scroll down that thread Slackers and youll see why I don't post on the App thread as when I did in 2011, I was told that it wasnt for iOS apps...

Besides, pointing that out to you and more importantly I think this is important for climbers rather than being just another app... Hence separate thread.

Thanks TT, definitely worth its own thread. I've always used Magic Seaweed, but it's a bit clunky, and only covers surf spots.

For none iThing users the hydrographic office has a fairly simple site for free predictions for the next week. No app though so I have it as a bookmark on the screen - works well on my tab 7.7 but quite clunky on my old motorola defy.

Otherwise I just tried a free Android app called marine weather which sucks in the same data but only gives high and low times and no nice graphs. It also has the weather forecast offshore in the late night Radio 4 marine shipping language that only sailors understand...
