Ceuse camping and trains
May 27, 2013, 11:26:59 am
I'm heading to Ceuse for the summer and wondering if you need to book the camping at all before heading out there (late july - early sept).

Also, is it advisable to book trains from Marseilles to Gap in advance or will it be similarly priced to buy them from the station?

Thanks

Hi James,

I was out there last year and the year before (August time) and didn't book. The campsite was quite busy but I didn't have any problems finding a spot. I would say you don't need to bother.

I have driven out on both occasions so can't be of any help regarding trains.

ps will be out there this August too.

Hi James, I'm going to be out there for 2 weeks from 25th July so probably see you out there. We were there last year and didn't book campsite in advance, it was fine.

Have heard some people say that you can book campervans at the campsite for only a euro or two extra per night, might be a good option.
