Bowder Stone parking
June 01, 2013, 10:36:43 pm
Heading to the bowder stone tomorrow.  Does anyone know what the parking charges are at the NT car park are? Or is there anywhere cheap to park close by?

Tried to join the NT before but their site isn't working for payments.  Though not sure I'd be able park for free tomorrow anyway unless you can print something off...

If you keep driving past the car park for about 700m there are some small bays on the left hand side of the road that are free to park in.

if there's no van in the car park it'll cost 8 quid, so keep driving past as butterworthtom says.

Ouch, expensive!!! Thanks for the replies.

Whilst this is up i may as well ask.... Any other lakes bouldering worth checking out on Monday that's steepish up to 7a+? Would be good to check somewhere else out.

Langdale boulders are good up to 7a+
Not much there but the quality is very good, particularly in the 6c / 7a range
