Glued holds at Rubicon
May 25, 2013, 09:23:28 pm
So here is the summer, and a fantastic day at Rubicon.

However; a number of (already, and not so) glued holds have come loose.

The most vital of the ones I have found, being the good horn on the start of A Miller's Tale.

I don't really have a clue about what I am doing (a hint for someone experienced to get involved, i don't really want to mess the job up).

Would anyone object to these holds being glued back into place with a gop of Araldite?

There are four or five holds like this, around the bottom of the bay. Not sure about higher up.
I can't believe it will be long before these holds go, considering the volume of people around over this bank holiday.

I thought the Miller's Tale horn felt particularly wobbly the other week.

I was talking with the OP about this yesterday - the sika doesn't look secure to me, I'd imagine the horn's days are numbered unless some repair is done.
