I have a Sony one. It's a fine thing! Definitely my most used lens. Good luck getting one.

Yeh 2nd hand ones are like rocking horse  it seems. Hopefully a good sign that people are hanging on to them but not good for my bank balance...

That's definitely the best price I've seen. Do you have to mess around with VAT on delivery with that site? And what about warranty?

Make sure you buy it with a credit card. I would have 'vouched for' camerabox as a provider. I bought all my gear from them as they were cheap. I gave them 1300 for a 7d body that they said they had, but they took orders without having the stock, then went into administration. If I'd paid on my debit card I'd have lost the lot.

I didn't do any Vat jiggery pokery, arrived next day well packaged etc. It came with a 1 year warranty, not amazing but y'know. . .

Blimey, could of been nasty. Well I can only speak from the order I made with this company and it was great, I don't know how you can look into whether or not a company is going to go tits up.
