Local Hero SS - Wimberry
April 05, 2013, 02:27:43 pm
Have got from the first two crimps to low left hold.  It feels really bunched up at this point; do people campus for the good starting right-hand hold from this point?  Feet on anywhere feels very awkward.  I'm 5'7" if it feels bunched up for me it must be spine-snapping for those of average height.

Cheers

It didn't seem too bunched to me (5'10" with long legs) but I like sitting on my feet. I didn't campus, just kept my right foot above the lip and locked off.

Dense ain't small either. He may have found it bunched though. I didn't find it bunched, but I am quite small.

Okay, thanks both.  Sounds like I just need to stop farting around.

Same wall, different problem...but with 'Chipless Hero' can anyone tell me which starting holds they use?

Was there yesterday and was thinking it must be either the thin seam/break just left and between the starting holds of 'Local Hero'. Other than that jump for the big hold to the right?

There's a number of pretty thin (1/4 pad?) natural crimps at about head height so these might do as starting holds?  They are vertically between the two main obvious chipped holds on Local Hero.
