Font in the snow

We're in Font and there is several inches of snow on the ground and it is still falling. Can anyone recommend any blocs to climb on, max

I feel your pain. I've had a very similar experience. Get out with brooms as soon as the snow stops. In certain situations, a small amount of warm water poured over certain holds will melt the ice and dry off in unlikely conditions.

Thanks for the suggestions. Went to Bois Rond and Elephant and messed around on some steep problems.

Sorry if I'm preaching to the converted but don't climb at Elephant or other bits in the southern area unless they are completely dry, this could take a good few days of good weather as it has been raining for as long as I can remember. The rock in this area is especially fragile.

Fair point. We were only pulling on the big jugs on Dalle a Poly which were still bone dry at that point.

It's been fantastic all week, but looks like the rain is coming in from tomorrow. How heavy and exactly where it falls remains to be seen. Not super positive I'm afraid, but it could all change in the blink of an eye.

So the easter weekend is looking a bit iffy.
Does anyone have any recent condition reports?
How many days of non-rain does it take to dry out to a climb-able level?

The is no snow in font. We left on Saturday afternoon and it was a dry, warm spring afternoon. Earlier in the week there were a few heavy showers but by the weekend most things were dry.

This has made my day substantially better, thank you.
My phone forecast says rain/snow on Friday, but also says 7 degrees, which seems a strange combo.

Oh, I have been.
But then I look at the forecasts...
On the plus side, even if it pisses it down all weekend, 4 days with a group of mates in France will still be fun.
Might actually go to the Chateau this year.
