It was platformed yesterday but didn't see any chalk. Don't think folk were sure how far right it climbed and one of the guides mentioned it being unrepeated since a pebble broke.

It takes a pretty direct line up the centre of the butress. I'd have to check but I thought the pebble I did the crux (round first roof) with was still there.

It got platformed last monday when we did the slap n' spittle one but didn't give it a go, thought the crux was a dyno and the landing is quite narrow

the landing is quite narrow

It is very narrow now, 2/3 of a mat.

The old recent developments guide mentions two finger pebble. I couldn't see one.

Cheers for the predictions, had a good day out today. Didnt venture far so not much to add, but platforms on silk, ulysses and white wand are in good condition. Did a little digging on archangel and don, the platforms are diminishing but they're still a big improvement on the normal landings. Very doable with a bit of care.

In case anyone else fancies it I'll be going for an evening session on Shine On tomorrow to try and finish it off. More pads & psyche always welcome. Will chuck some more snow on the platform whilst I'm there.

The 2 finger pebble is/was above the first break where you get reasonable gear. Right foot high, left hand on pebble, massive slap up to next ledge.

Cleaned Nefertiti on a rope today, and built up the platform. The shovel is still in the chimney to the left (thanks for that).
Also noticed that Life in a Radioactive Dustbin and Puck were both dry and had landings built.
The snow is very wet and sugary though, I don't think it's going to last much longer.

Is all the shovelling finished around Nefertiti Mark20? I might go and get my shovel back if so.

That should be enough for now. Might need a bit of work in a couple of days with current temperatures though- still plenty of snow in the drift up and left.
If Happily Ever After dries off in the next couple of days, it might be worth leaving the shovel down there since that side of the landing will need a bit more work.

Anyway, a few of us are going tomorrow evening if anyone wants a spot

Archangel - Don - Ulysses - White Wand etc all still good this afternoon.  Lots of spare snow around if folks want to top up platforms. Getting off the top was a bugger in my rock boots though.  Thigh deep most of the way round and I ended up absolutely soaked from the waist down.

As mark says - sugary/slushy and probably not last too much longer now.  Wish I didn't have meetings arranged for tomorrow  :'(

Not sure why you’re so pleased dave. You’ll have to queue to get on kudos/pinches wall next week.

Sad to see that there is quite a bit of rain due over the next week, might wash quite a bit away :slap:

Stanage end was a proper winter wonderland yesterday. Still plenty of snow. We could see the platform below/chalk on exaltation. Been getting a few ascents. Looks fun - if only I wasn't fat and weak. Great evening - able to climb in the light til gone 8!

Chip Shop Brawl platform in good nick on Saturday. Added a bit of snow, and given the size of it I'm sure it will stick around for a few days yet.
