Yeah, if I could convince the missus (spoiler alert: I won't) I would take it like a shot to replace our knackered-but-still-won't-die Fabia.
First World problems.
Sorry no knowledge from me spidermonkey, just a question of my own:the low oil light came on the other day on my 08 Audi A3 - topped it up but the light's still on - is this something that would just need resetting by a garage, or is there possibly something worse going on?
Book it in the nearest garage and drive it there very slowly, preferably outside of busy traffic.
Just to reinforce my impending feeling of doom...Driving to work this morning something in the (Peugeot Partner) gearbox felt like it changed position and I couldn't shift into second or first. This has happened periodically in the past but gets fixed by wiggling the gearstick. Not this time. For the rest of the drive to work shifting between gears felt noticeably different to previously and it was significantly clunkier going into second. It still drives fine but I can't escape the feeling that something has got worse in there...Its going to the garage tomorrow for a look but I've got no idea what it might be beyond the nuclear option of fucked gearbox and/or clutch. Hoping it can wait until next week, whatever it is as I have a fair amount of driving planned this weekend. Anyone got any predictions?
