Was trying this today and one of the red crozzles you udge you're right foot to has suffered some minor erosion. It's still there but the patina has come off and it was a bit sandy/scrittly on the freshly exposed bit. It's not huge (size of a 1/2 p coin) and the crozzle still sticks out and can be used but it is one of the more useful footholds on the problem - so take it easy with the brushing etc...
I dont know why/how it happened as it was like that when I pitched up (2 ish) *speculation alert* but the lower foot holds were all covered in chalk as if they had been dried off (blanket chalk rather than large tickmarks) so its possible someones been on it while its damp etc.. But thats just me putting two and ninety seven together and getting 4.
